As you may know, Limerick Township is the second largest municipality (22.6+ square miles) and second fastest growing municipality (14,000+ population) in Montgomery County. Population in the township increased 102% from 1990-2000. Growing the local business community is a natural progression with population growth of this nature.The Limerick Economic Development Council (LEDC) is a non-profit corporation dedicated to the economic advancement of Limerick Township. LEDC is comprised of local residents, local municipal officials and area business leaders who share a common interest in attracting broad-based business investment to Limerick Township. It is the vision of LEDC to provide benefits to its members that will help them guide development in the township in a strategic and value-added manner. These benefits will not only assist them in the short-term with managing the development process in Limerick Township, but will also provide the longer term economic benefits that will accompany local economic expansion.
Some of the benefits that LEDC will provide to its members include:

- Access to low interest financing
- Streamlined land development and permit process
- Access to development materials (maps, available parcels, etc.)
- County and State tax incentives
- Employee training grants
- Interactive website including links to your business website, access to our membership list and reference materials

- Networking opportunities
LEDC offers three levels of membership:
- Corporate Membership ($5,000)
- Company Membership for businesses with 50+ employees ($1,000)
- Business Membership for local businesses with less than 50 employees ($500)
